Risk Management

The Risk Management Department's mission is to minimize the potential for losses of the City's human, fiscal and physical assets; and to ascertain the impact losses have on the organization so that resources can be directed toward the needs of other City programs.

Stormwater Management

The program's mission is to maintain natural and man-made drainage ways in free-flowing condition, reduce the risk of localized storm water flooding, educate our residents and businesses, reduce stormwater pollution as required by Federal law, as well as to manage floodplain development and the municipal drainage utility system.

Street Department

The Street Department’s mission is to provide high quality service to the citizens of Garland by maintaining, repairing and replacing streets, alleys, and other related infrastructure.

Tax / Revenue Recovery

The City of Garland Tax Office and Revenue Recovery Department is dedicated to great customer service and excellent stewardship of the City's tax, code abatement and emergency services collections.

Transportation

The Transportation Department provides for the safe, convenient, and efficient flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic within the city.

Utility Customer Service

Customer Service provides account related services for City of Garland utility customers, which includes the opening and closing of utility accounts.

Water Utilities
